DSL Down :: Day 027

I am having problems sleeping and I am a bit deep into taking naps. I wake up and think of ways to give Verizon the finger for such a shitty service. "Why don't you drop them" you may be thinking. They want to charge me around $80 because they suck and I can't function when I am unplugged.

Sometime I wonder how they can offer a DSL plan that does not need a regular phone line (dedicated line only) and not give all the benefits of technical support to both alike.

I hope they piss blood tomorrow.

:: Latin America: Getting Out Of The Hole ::

Lately, there have been news about this region of the world having a more responsible and sound economy. Having Argentina (8,3%)* and Chile (6,2%)* as the main exponents of this stability, followed by Peru (7,1%)* and Brazil (3,2%)*. Also pointing out that Venezuela (8,2%)* has lowered poverty levels 10% in the last three years, only to be out done by Argentina, achieving a 19% decrease in the same amount of time.

In the commerce side, Chile and Peru increased their exports by 37,5% and 36,6 respectively. And inflation was kept low in an average of 4% across the region. Having Argentina and Venezuela as the nations with the highest inflation levels (both around 15%), and Peru showing a responsible 1,7%.

In average, the Latin American region has lowered poverty 4%.

:: Volkswagen Towing Company ::

Apparently, the Touareg is not only good for taking a ride around the country or to pick up secretaries at Chilli's. According to this publicity stunt by VW, it can pull a Boeing 747 at 5mph.
